Pinner for Pinboard App Reviews

as a huge pinboard user this is one of my fav apps; the reading interface and sharing features have no competition In App Store. Thanke so much.

Its been about 6 months since Pinner removed auto-fetch of title for tweets, and this made me stop using it since all of a sudden I have to manually copy and paste the title of every bookmark before tweeting. Rather than posting a negative review right away, I emailed them and received a reply to "wait". I am still waiting. Very disappointing when a developer removes a feature like this and doesnt communicate properly with their customers.

Beautifully executed. Cant complain. Everything I want where I wanted.

I have to send the article to Safari to follow links in it. If this is by design, its a gaping usability defect.

I wanted to like Pinner….the problem is that it doesn’t work. I couldn’t get Pinner to show my Pinboard bookmarks. Repeated attempts to connect Pinner to Pinboard (logout/login) didn’t help. At some point I uninstalled Pinner, and after reinstalling it downloaded some of my bookmarks, but was clearly missing most of them. I saved a few new bookmarks to Pinboard…and Pinner didn’t show the new bookmarks. I’ve communicated with the developer but haven’t heard back after supplying the requested info. In fact, I have neither bookmarks or a response after 17 days.

Pinner is terrific if youre a Pinboard person. I like it because if Ive copied a URL to clipboard, switching to Pinner asks me if Id like to add the URL to Pinner.. Brilliant!

Ive tried pretty much all the other Pinboard.in apps in the iOS ecosystem, and this is the one I keep coming back to. Save yourself the trouble and get this app from the get go. Its exceptonally well designed - the UI makes sense, and its easy to navigate/bookmark.

With the iOS 8 update, this app went from good to great. The simple and powerful share extension is the killer feature, but I find the clean and simple design enjoyable as well.

The new pinner thing in Safari+ios8 is just perfect, Im especially glad that there is one to send the url to my unread list. Having a darker night mode now is nice too, although the blue navigation text can be a bit difficult to read.

Sam really hit this one out of the park. Everything seems right. Feel like hes been working on this for a while, or iOS development got a whole lot easier, or hes gotten a whole lot better. Wow I love it. Extensions and the UI redesign are great.

I will be using it a lot more now!

This has been my main iOS pinboard app for quite some time. It was dang near perfect in iOS7 and now with this new iOS8 overhaul its dang near perfecter. Or something. If youre in the market for a pinboard app, look no further.

Worth it. I rely on pin board and a good app is required.

I have just about every Pinboard app. This has become my new favorite with the iOS 8 update. Integrates in every possible way needed.

With this new version for iOS 8, Pinner grabs the top spot in Pinboard apps. Beautiful, functional, and easy to use.

I like the new update. The ios8 Safari extensions are really nice.

What can I say? This app is beautifully designed for use with Pinboard. It includes extensions so that you can save bookmarks directly from Safari (and Chrome), and easily mark URLs to "Read Later". Must have.

Ive spent too much money on pinboard apps; Ive tried them all. With the new update, this is the best. The new navigation design is much improved, and it fully utilized the new features in iOS 8; theres a sharing extension for Safari, and the settings are properly located in the Settings app. And the app is integrated with 1Password for login. A+
